Matt got started in real estate thanks to a high school internship with a homebuilder at age 16. While studying architecture at UNC-Charlotte, Matt earned his broker’s license at age 18, and by age 19, he received the Rookie of the Year after selling $3.2M in volume. During the market crash of 2009, Matt started a property management company, Conrad Klein Property Management, and he procured more than $60M in assets under management by the time he was 22 years old. This experience then became the catalyst for Matt to connect with many high-level investors and establish Matt Stone Real Estate in 2015.
Fast forward to today, Matt manages a team of 26 brokers that he handpicked across 4 markets, expanded his company in 2019 to Asheville, Columbia & Florida and is ranked in the top 1% across the United States after selling over 1,600 homes across the Southeast. Though a lot of this success stems from the committed team and their expertise, much of it comes from their mission to provide unparalleled customer service and building strong, long-term relationships. Matt and his team have dedicated themselves to not only being agents, but also mentors, consultants, and friends along the way. Their goal is to empower their clients with in-depth information, knowledge, and insight so they can make the best decision for themselves and their futures.
